little pink pearl Treasury at Etsy

This soft and lovely treasury was created by Etsy seller, Yann Pendaries.  Yann is a photographer from Paris, France. He has such a good eye for color and the play of light on objects.  His own photography  is most often soft but detailed.  He has chosen similar pieces for this treasury.

My Soft Pink Flower Bobby Pins are included in his treasury.  I feel honored to have one of my items selected. Enjoy this treasury.

Fasten Your Shawl with a Brooch Pin!

I have been making some brooch pins that can be used to fasten shawls or scarves, or perhaps worn as a decorative accessory on a coat or jacket. I was inspired by a scarf pin in the December 2008 edition of Simply Beads. After searching online for awhile, I found a source for the pins and bought some in silver plate and some in gold plate. It is fun and easy to place about 2 1/2" of beads on the pins, and after some practice I was able to bend the pins to form them into a pin that looks like a kilt pin. I sold several at a recent craft show. Here are some pictures. See the fuschia pink and cobalt blue pin at my Etsy shop, Plum Beadacious!

I haven't had time to post lately. My day job has taken up much more of my time lately. Finally I completed some new pieces to sell for Valentine's day. I always enjoy creating jewelry for Valentine's day. See my newest collection at my website Plum Beadacious! I am particularly pleased with this one.
